Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Cesarean Scar Niche: Clinical Outcomes and Therapeutic Interventions

Figures

↓  Figure 1. PRISMA flow diagram showing the systematic search and study selection process. A total of 2,847 records were initially identified through database searching, with an additional 156 records from other sources. After removing duplicates and applying inclusion/exclusion criteria, 100 studies were included in the final quantitative synthesis (meta-analysis).

↓  Figure 2. Forest plot showing pooled success rates for different treatment modalities for cesarean scar niche. Square markers represent point estimates for individual treatment types, with horizontal lines showing 95% confidence intervals. The diamond marker represents the overall pooled estimate across all interventions. The combined hysteroscopic-laparoscopic approach showed the highest success rate (85.2%), while conservative management showed the lowest (44.0%).
